26th September saw the first SIMS User Group of this academic year.
The session allowed attendees to meet the MIS team and network with colleagues from other schools. The agenda covered recent and upcoming SIMS and FMS updates, Pupil and Workforce Census requirements, e-Procurement update, The Education Space’s new analytics dashboards as well as support for Assessment reports and finance services.
One of the highlights from the session was the presentation of the new analytics dashboards that The Education Space are building for supported schools, bringing pupil and staff information to life using the latest online data visualisation tools.
Attendees were also given a quick overview of the new client portal, SBMs and Heads should have received an email with a link to the system as well as information on when they will receive their login details. Training sessions will be organised shortly to help schools get to grips with using the system. So keep a look out.
With a really interactive approach allowing attendees to contribute to the direction of the agenda, as well as a tasty brunch and refreshments, the session was extremely well received, which was reflected in the feedback forms showing 100% of attendees rated the session Good or Excellent. With more than 60% rating it Excellent.
